Smashed Potatoes with a delicious Hot Dipping sauce

Ingredients

  • 1kg small potatoes
  • 3-4 garlic cloves 
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Freaky Sauces Lingon & Blueberry
  • 7-8 finely chopped pickles

Method



Step 1

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Boil the potatoes in salted water for about 20 minutes until they are tender and cooked.


Step 2

Drain the potatoes and let them cool slightly. Place them on a baking sheet and cover them in olive oil, and neutral oil. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.


Step 3

Use something heavy such as a glass to gently flatten each potato. Throw in the garlic cloves on the sheet and bake the potatoes for 50 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside. Turn the potatoes halfway in the oven.


Step 4

Make a sauce by mixing together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, Freaky Sauces Lingon & Blueberry, and chopped pickles.


Step 5

Serve the potatoes hot with some more Lingon & Blueberry sauce on the side.
