How to prepare Saffron Hot Wings

Here is a new take on the classic game day dish that we all love! This version is made in the oven, which means less oil, less cleaning, less hassle, and more enjoyment
- 1kg chicken wings
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 4 tablespoons baking powder
- 100g butter
- 3 tablespoons Freaky Sauces Saffron & Rose
- ½ tablespoon honey
Set the oven to 230 degrees C. In a small bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper to create the dredge.
Place the chicken wings in a large plastic bag (or work in batches) and coat them in the flour mixture until they are fully coated.
Arrange the wings individually on an oiled baking sheet, making sure to leave some space between each wing. Bake the wings in the oven for 45-50 minutes, flipping them over halfway through.
While the wings are cooking, make a quick sauce by melting together butter, Freaky Sauces Saffron & Rose, and honey in a small pot. Bring the mixture to a boil and then set it aside to cool.
Once the wings are done, toss them in a bowl with the sauce and serve immediately. Enjoy
