Ingredients

  • 2 yellow onions
  • 3 carrots
  • 3 celery stalks
  • 800g ground beef
  • 2 tbsp Freaky Sauces Lingon & Blueberry
  • 400 g tomatoes
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • Salt & pepper
  • 250 ml red cooking wine
  • 1 stock cube
  • 1 dl stock
  • 1 tbsp mushroom soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • Spaghetti

Method

Step 1

In a large pan or skillet, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the diced onions and minced garlic. Sauté until the onions become translucent.
Add the tomato paste and the ground beef to the pan and cook until it's browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Stir in the chopped carrots and celery, and continue to cook for a few minutes until they begin to soften.

Step 2

Stir in the chopped tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Pour in the red cooking wine, and let it simmer for a few minutes to reduce slightly. Crumble in the bouillon cube into the pan along with the beef stock. Add the mushroom soy sauce Freaky Sauces Lingon & Blueberry and balsamic vinegar, and let the mixture simmer for about 15-20 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.

Step 3

While the sauce is simmering, cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Plate your spaghetti and ragu and enjoy!
