A burger that celebrates the best that the Swedish forest has to offer. This one really hits the cravings, especially during those autumn months.
Ingredients
- Burger buns
- 150g ground deer meat
- 100g chanterelle mushrooms
- ½ onion
- Bunch of lettuce
- 2 pickles
- 2 slices aged cheddar
- 2 tablespoons mayo
- 2 teaspoons ketchup
- 2 teaspoons mustard
- 2 teaspoons Freaky Sauces Lingon & Blueberry
Method


Step 1
Brush mushrooms clean of any dirt. Finely dice the mushrooms and the onion. Pan-fry in butter until golden and fragrant, do not forget to season with salt & pepper.

Step 2
Make the burger sauce. Mix mayo, ketchup, mustard, salt, pepper & Freaky Sauces Lingon & Blueberry.

Step 3
Shape the deer meat into a ball, season. Pan-fry with a touch of oil and smash the burger into the pan. Turn after 2 minutes. Season again with some salt. Add the cheese and put on the lid for 20-30 seconds.

Step 4
Toasted burger buns, add the burger sauce to both sides of the bun. Add some lettuce to the bottom bun, followed by the burger topped with mushrooms. Close & enjoy.
